ABOUT SOUTO

Souto Apartments, on Rua do Souto, is located in a central and privileged area of the city classified as World Heritage by UNESCO. The first references to this street date back to 1234 and is considered to be one of the oldest and longest arteries in the old city of Porto.
Given the recognized historical character of the area in which it is inserted, the building, previously in ruins, has been completely restored maintaining its original volumetry, style, scale, materials and colours.
From the point of view of its language, it has a traditional construction character, being integrated in the various surrounding facades, keeping wooden beams between the four floors, part of the facade in slate and windows in solid wood. The patio gives the building a fresh atmosphere and access to the apartments is made by a common staircase and a lift.
APARTMENTS

Our concept of accommodation is part of the typical hospitality of the city. The four apartments, all different, are distributed over the four floors and have been carefully decorated, privileging comfort, authenticity and modernity.
The apartments on the 1st and 2nd floors benefit from the strained light of the street, characteristic of the sinuosity of the buildings, showing a calmer and more intimate environment.
The apartments on the 3rd and 4th floors assume a stronger relationship with the light and allow a view over the roofs of the hill of the Sé.
Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchenette with oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine; a seating and dining area, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, air conditioning and free wi-fi; it also includes a private bathroom with shower, hairdryer, towels and bed linen.
